Biography	Born June 11, 1816, in Dublin, Ireland. Came to Milwaukee in 1836. Became editor of the Milwaukee Advertiser. Practiced law. Served as private secretary to Governor Henry Dodge. Two terms in territorial council. Elected mayor in 1852. Died at his home on Tenth Street March 16, 1889, at the age of 72.
