My life	Being born poor and growing up seeing my parents struggle, I realized life was not easy. If I wanted something from life, I had to work hard, stay abreast of things and make sacrifices. Prayer and hard work have brought me into the main stream of society. My life has been a struggle. Looking back, the accomplishments have brought some joy in that struggle.

Greatest inspiration	Helping people gives me great joy, and lending a helping hand and sharing with others.
My vision for Milwaukee	Unlike many other cities across the country, Milwaukee has a chance for a great future. There is a large gap between the haves and have-nots. I am optimistic. With strong, qualified, creative leadership and with more emphasis on quality education, our city will be one of the great cities of the future.
