The Ashland Historical Society Museum's digital collection is a sampling of our photograph collections showing images of historic buildings in Ashland, Wisconsin and the Chequamegon Bay ore docks. The Ashland Soo Line ore dock was built in 1916. It was the last ore dock in the Chequamegon Bay, torn down in 2012-2013.
This online collection of historic photographs, which will continue to grow, supports the Museum's mission statement by visually sharing our local history and serving as an educational resource to reach a broader audience.
